I would like to apologize to you for not getting a reflection out for last week's readings, and I would like to ask your forgiveness. Brandy and I have been trying to get our lives back on track after a broken person did a broken thing which caused us to financially end up in a deep hole.
In that time, we have struggled to pay rent, utilities, and to keep food on the table. Through the grace of God, we have been able, and as of the end of next week, we should finally be back caught up on everything. Being back at 0 is a good thing...however we've been working as hard as we can to get to that point, so I've been putting a lot of work into projects that our company has.
And I also have to admit that I have been spending a lot of my "free" time playing games on the computer with my son. This is not in and of itself a bad thing, but I really should put God first. There's plenty of time for both.
Thank God today is Saturday. I'll see you (figuratively, of course) in line for confession!
I'll have a reflection for last Sunday up today once I've had some time to sleep and reflect.
